Dean of the DEI Leadership Certification Program, Darrylyn is Harvard trained in Leadership/Management and has over 30 years of DEI experience as a strategist and trainer. She utilizes neurological methodologies to educate people about systems of oppression and to dismantle ideologies about discrimination.

Chief Learning officer

Dr. Rakia Esver is a highly accomplished educational leader with over 15 years of experience applying evidence-based practices to create impactful learning experiences. Holding a PhD in Learning and Mind Sciences from UC Davis, she excels in curriculum development across various instructional methods. Dr. Esver’s expertise and leadership ensure the creation of effective, engaging, and equitable learning programs that consistently achieve desired outcomes.

Organizational Psychology Specialist

Andrea Portillo-Knowles is a U.S. Air Force veteran with experience in nonprofit leadership, workforce development, and DEI consulting. She holds a Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is pursuing a PhD. Her research focuses on race, employee well-being, and DEI integration. A certified Myers-Briggs practitioner, Andrea applies data-driven strategies to improve leadership and workplace culture. She is also an alumna of Middle Georgia State University and actively serves her community.

She works with leaders to reach their full potential and is an expert in understanding how data and metrics drive success.

Dr. Michelle Hector is a dynamic professional with more than 15 years of leadership experience, in Finance, Technology and education. She develops and leads high-performing teams, by recruiting the best talent in the industry. Leading people from good to great, or great to excellent is Michelle's passion.

IDPI Program manager

Ciara is a learning experience design consultant focused on developing engaging learning experiences that combine storytelling and technology. As a skilled and passionate instructional designer, Ciara consults with subject matter experts in a variety of fields to develop high quality courses. Ciara is also a Project Manager ensuring the internal flow and client experience is maintained.

IEDEIA Program manager

Leads the deployment of the IEDEIA program which houses DEI strategy, guides and training tools. Sada works directly with the clients to ensure effective enablement and engagement, and manages client campaigns.

Operations manager

With over 15 years of experience in both finance and higher education sectors, Lupita is known for her strategic thinking and attention to detail. Lupita has a proven track record of optimizing operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving organizational growth.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS manager

With over 6 years of experience in operations leadership, Trevor excels in managing web platforms, front-end technologies and back-end workforce management. He combines a strong background in website development with a passion for process optimization to deliver impactful and efficient digital solutions.

Carla is the Program Director for the IEDEIA DEI Leadership Institute and Certification Program. She has extensive experience and background in developing and implementing DEI programs that effectively engage and encourage relevance to the participants learning, work and everyday life environment.

Mickalea Manuel is an administrative assistant with over 7 years of experience in office management, executive support, and event coordination. A Richmond, CA native with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles, she excels in communication, multitasking, and streamlining operations. Known for her attention to detail and reliability, Mickalea thrives in fast-paced environments, managing complex tasks and building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
